About the team:
The Developer Experience team is responsible for the design, development, and management of the entire Developer eco-system at FIS.
The Product Manager- Developer Portals position will be the leader in developing and delivering a best-in-class Developer Portal experience across the entire FIS ecosystem, including Banking, Payments, and Capital Markets.
What you will be doing:
You will be the CEO of the Developer Portals at FIS, managing the entire life cycle of the product planning activities and delivery of new products enhancements to market. You will define product roadmaps based upon user centered feedback/testing and market analysis, champion design and iterative prototyping, and manage the delivery of product deliverables/enhancements through agile development methodologies.
- Collaborate and partner with stakeholders to understand product strategy, market, industry, and client goals to achieve product goals.
- Write vision documents, direct business requirements process, manage digital product backlog, and direct cross-functional teams to implement new capabilities and enhancements.
- Manage the development and maintenance of competitive analysis and market research of competing products and services to identify customer needs and trends. Conduct consumer research and usability studies and incorporate findings into product refinement.
- Champion design and iterative prototyping to validate new concepts and launch innovative products aimed at adoption and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates leadership by establishing and articulating a clear vision of success and how goals and objectives will be achieved.
- Engages and interacts with clients during feedback sessions, focus groups, user groups and requirements gathering sessions. Practices open and honest communications with clients.
- Acts as product launch manager when appropriate for new products or rollouts of major releases.
What you bring:
- Bachelors degree or relative work experience.
- 3 or more years of experience working on technology platforms or cloud/SaaS products.
- Ability to shift from developing and communicating a strategy to executing in a cross-functional, matrixed organization.
- Strong product management design and/or development skills.
- Excellent skills in communicating ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner.
- Team skills, including ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels within organization, internally and externally.
Added bonus if you have:
- Experience with APIs and/or API development.
- Technical/development background.
- Understanding of Banking and Payments industries.
- Understanding of different components of the technology stack for a cloud-based application
