* Oversees and positively leads a team of Relationship Managers who answer incoming port calls and lead effective conversations with our SMB merchants.
* Influences your team and customers to improve retention rates for SMB Merchants, negotiate with customers, implement retention strategies, and oversee the overall success of your Relationship Managers.
* Meeting with managers in the organization to plan strategically
* Expanding the customer base by upselling and cross-selling
* Understanding key customer individual needs and addressing the situation
* Conducting business reviews using CRM and available programs.
* Knowing your competition and strategizing accordingly
* Assisting your team and/or leading escalations resolving customer complaints quickly and efficiently.
* Sells the company's products, systems and/or services via telephone or electronic means to customers in assigned territory, industry, or accounts.
* Closes the sale on products, systems and/or services.
* Generates prospective customers through cold calling and may qualify and follow up with sales leads produced through other means.
* Sales can be made through multichannel, inbound and/or outbound sales activities.
* Acquires and applies in-depth technical knowledge of products, systems and services.
* Responsible for renewing, expanding and closing of maintenance/service/license contracts for assigned region or account.
* Increases renewal sales for assigned regions or accounts.
* Demonstrates knowledge of the organization's various products and maintenance contracts.
* Educates customers on business practices and associated contractual implications.
* Ensures customer awareness and understanding of applicable product elements.
* Maintain account team relationships and transfers leads as appropriate.
