Sales Content & Training DirectorThe Sales Content & Training Director is responsible for leading a team to drive the enablement and effectiveness of direct and indirect sellers for all Platform and Enterprise products. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of well-defined value propositions to target profiles, succinct and clear sales collateral, continuous sales training and coaching activities, effective sales playbooks and centralized, easy to access sales tools.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES
As the leader of the Sales Content and Training team, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Define a sales enablement focused strategy for improving sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Create and maintain world-class sales and business development collateral used during the sales process across various business level executives.
- Closely partner with marketing to develop assets that compliment sales material including press releases and trade show assets.
- Work closely with the GTM planning team to clearly showcase and effectively train sales on the messaging and value propositions of each product as well as reflecting accurate state of the product.
- Create and implement simple yet effective sales processes.
- Continuously assess performance analysis of sales enablement processes by tracking: content, resource, and tool usage; sales enablement metrics and KPIs; and performance data to identify knowledge or skill gaps of the sales team.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategy for Platform & Enterprise suite of products across various sales channels.
- Implement effective sales tools to enable sales success for both a direct and reseller sales motion.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
The ideal candidate will have direct experience with marketing, sales and go-to-market planning activities, have experience selling to a variety of customer types including banks, enterprise customers and fintech.
- 10 years of experience in Sales, Product Marketing, Design or GTM Management or other relevant role
- 3 years of experience working in influence-based roles within large, matrixed organizations and working cross functionally.
- Preferred experience in the Fintech, Financial Services or Payments industry
- Experience in driving growth through resellers .
- A strong understanding and experience in a sales environment including sales content, tools and training.
- Effective and proven people leader
- Ability to be a thought leader to provide big-picture thinking on top of deep industry expertise
- Be resourceful inside and outside of the organization to creatively solve problems as they arise
- Strong executive presence, communication and leading through influence skills
- Methodical and organized, able to effectively manage competing priorities
- Excellent interpersonal skills; proven track record of building and fostering strong relationships and establishing credibility with clients as well as internal teams
