Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technician to join our team. The Technician will be responsible for performing various technical tasks and providing support in a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various machinery and equipment, including lathes, CNC machines, and plastics injection molding machines
- Perform precision measurements using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
- Conduct troubleshooting and repairs on machinery as needed
- Assist in the setup and changeover of production lines
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role or field is preferred
- Proficiency in operating machinery such as lathes, CNC machines, and plastics injection molding machines
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers
- Knowledge of plastics extrusion processes is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining principles
- Ability to operate a forklift safely is desirable
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues
