Quality Assurance Engineering LeadWhat does a successful Quality Assurance Engineering Lead do at Fiserv?
Our technology stack offers end-to-end acquiring solutions to our clients in LATAM and Caribbean region including terminal hardware/software, terminal management, payment gateways for e-commerce, authorizations, clearing and settlement. We practice Agile with a startup mentality, which allows us to work with the latest leading-edge technologies and cloud-based platforms.
What you will do:
- Build multi-system test environments and automated test suites and enforce QA Governance.
- Design, develop, and execute reusable and maintainable testing plans, scripts during the functional and end-to-end testing of acquiring solution.
- Establish and maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all work including status updates to summarize project highlights.
- Document test procedures to ensure replicability and compliance with standards.
- Provide test related technical direction and project management within a the team and provide guidance in methodology selection, project planning, the review of work products.
- Work closely with Technical Business Analyst, Software Engineers, Product Managers and other departments (operations, support, and IT).
- Prioritize the competing needs of ongoing projects and ensure the delivery of client committed projects and client satisfaction.
- Maintain budget and proactively allocate resources and time for the various ongoing testing projects and conduct system diagnostic analysis to identify areas for continuous improvements and resolve complex software issues.
What you will need to have:
- 10 years of professional experience as a software test engineer and software developer or bachelor's degree and equivalent experience
- 7 years of experience with programming languages (COBOL, Java, C#, JavaScript), Agile methodologies, and software testing tools, such as Selenium, JIRA, Jenkins, and Postman
- 7 years of extensive experience with various types of testing including functional, performance, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and portability
- 5 years of experience testing data, setting up test environments, and knowledge of mobile applications, microservices, distributed systems
- 3 years of experience in scheme certifications, API testing with authorizations, and clearing and settlement
- 3 years of experience in SDET/QA methodology and software development processes (Agile, Scrum)
This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, Hawaii, New York or Washington.
