Job Title
Treasury Operations AnalystThe Settlement Controls and Solutions team is responsible for the daily analysis, cash requirements and Settlement to Fiserv clients. This team interacts with other Fiserv business units and client delivery teams. As a major component in the daily operations workflow for funds movement, the team carries a strong understanding of cash in transit and how it relates to the clients revenue and expense reporting.
What does a successful Reconciliation Analyst do at Fiserv?
As a Reconciliation Analyst within the Settlement Controls and Solutions team, you will analyze and reconcile all transactions made in the digital payments environment. You will perform proper auditing of operating cash and process controls and report findings and outages and exception. You are analytical and exhibit critical-thinking skills. You have advanced understanding of analytical tools and software knowledge to support large data management
What you will do:
You will be responsible for resolving transaction discrepancies between institutions, especially in Settlement of digital payments.
- Daily reconciliation and analysis of daily bank data and incoming Wire and Zelle Settlement.
- Monitor and analyze the reconciliation output as well as outgoing Settlement files.
- Accurately provide daily Cash Projections and report changes throughout the day to funding positions to Treasury.
- Work internally to process correcting entries to clients using automated tools as well as manual adjustments.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent experience
- 4 years of reconciliation and/or banking experience.
- General accounting knowledge
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access
- 4 years of reconciling General Ledger Transactions.
- 4 years of reconciling Bank Statements
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written, from peers to Senior Vice Presidents, as well as external clients
What would be great to have:
- Knowledge of different card brands - VISA, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover, etc.
- Expert capabilities with Microsoft Power BI, Powerpoint,
- Background with Data Analytics/Metrics
- Ability to conceptualize innovative approaches to modernize processes
- Advanced ability to describe complex systems and situations in business terms with no supervision
This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.
