Job Posting for Manager, Decision Science and Analytics at Fiserv
You will provide insightful analytics and develop predictive models using machine learning as well as traditional techniques to support the risk management strategy globally for Fiserv Merchant Acquiring. You will play a critical role in supporting key company priorities, by reducing risk of loss as well as enabling top line growth. Conducting complex and sophisticated analytics, developing ML and predictive models for credit and fraud risk management will help identify new areas of opportunity. This position will be a critical interface with stakeholders within and outside Fiserv in building best-in-class analytical solutions.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Conduct complex analysis using statistical and other industry leading quantitative techniques.
- Develop predictive models using large datasets. Leverage machine learning as well as traditional techniques in developing best-in-class models as appropriate.
- Conduct analysis to support the development of policies.
- Build analytical products using external and internal data assets in close collaboration with technology teams.
- Identify and evaluate external data sources and attributes necessary to enhance predictive models
- Develop documentation to support internal and external stakeholder requirements.
- Establish the scope of the project, lead internal communication with stakeholders, and ensure delivery of projects per commitment.
Basic qualifications for consideration:
- Experience conducting analysis using statistical software such as SAS and/or experience in using open source software e.g. R or others like Python, Hive etc.
- Hands-on experience in using large data sets and in building predictive models using traditional techniques as well as new techniques such as machine learning.
- Experience with big-data analytics and managing unstructured data preferred.
- Experience with credit bureaus and other external data sources.
- Experience in financial services industry.
- 4 years of relevant experience in leveraging analytics in a financial or technology firm as well as at least 3-5 years of experience in leading people and teams.
- BS or MS degree in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Economics and Engineering fields.
