What are the responsibilities and job description for the Print Associate position at Fiserv?
You will be responsible for assisting the Silk Screen Print Operator with the daily start up to end of day running the presses for different sizes and types of materials while matching colors to our contract proof with great attention to detail. Additionally, you will adhere to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) / Work Instructions (WI) developed for the press room.
Schedule: 3rd Shift Monday to Friday (10PM - 6AM)
As a Silk Screen Operator, you can expect to:
- Assist silk screen operator with silk screen press, feeder, to deliver the maximize production.
- Load feeder with core material as needed according to the job
- Load and adjust the feeder to maintain constant operation
- Maintains adequate levels of ink in screens
- Unloads finished work from delivery of press and prepares material for the next process
- Enters all daily activities and materials in the CRC system
- Assigns good and bad finished product quantities
- Ensures that the entries match the job paperwork and production logs
- Assists silk screen operator with reading job tickets and quality checklists
- Refills supplies and cleans machine and conducts preventative maintenance as needed
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
- This position may require incumbent to be mobile, in a standing, walking position with ability to bend and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Requires close vision to enhance performance.
- Detail oriented, great communication / organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 years printing experience in fast paced environment.
- Reading comprehension and good vision with an aptitude for color.
- A team player that works well with others but can also work independently.
