Job Title Tax Intern Job Purpose As a Tax Analyst Intern, you will work in a challenging, fast-paced and dynamic team environment, reporting to the Tax Manager. You will gain valuable experiences in a wide range of tax disciplines and will be an integral part of the tax team. Under direct supervision with specific instruction, the tax intern may perform the following tasks: • Prepare tax-related analyses, assists with documentation of tax issues and research in the area of corporate income tax, state tax nexus and apportionment, sales/use tax and other related areas, • Prepare tax and/or registration forms and gather underlying information related to the completion of such forms, • Prepare reports and/or spreadsheets, compile data, research basic tax law, or mine database information, • Prepare tax audit workpapers and transfer pricing supporting documents, • Work with financial managers and business unit personnel to collect legal agreements, and develop and maintain a catalog of such agreements and related documentation, and • Perform other duties as required. Basic Qualifications for Consideration: • High school diploma required • Currently pursuing a B.A. within Accounting or Finance with completion of at least 3 years Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education: • Knowledge base will focus on job duties and the skills required to complete such duties • Coursework in tax and accounting preferred • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills • Detail oriented with a strong willingness to learn • Time management skills • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point Who We Are: The Corporate Income Tax Compliance Team is located at the corporate headquarters in Brookfield, Wisconsin and reports up through the CFO’s organization.
