Job Title: Technical Test Engineer
What does a great Technical Test Engineer do at Fiserv?

As a successful Technical Test Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the test team by managing the test environments. Test environment management includes: Test abend problem research & resolution, environment maintenance, test data mining, sanitizing and provisioning, batch cycle execution and test process automation.
What you will do:
- Support technical testing staff with batch and online abend problem determination and resolution.
- Analyze and prioritize requests based upon business and programming specifications.
- Perform testing support activities to include: planning, design, scripting, and execution, debugging and reporting tasks.
What you will need to have:
- High school/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 6 years of related Technical experience.
- Knowledge of JCL, /PROCS, Filemaster, DB2, SQL, and CICS
What would be great to have:
- Extensive knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions/processes.
- Moderate - high level knowledge of business rules and programming logic. Effectively trouble shoot defects that arise.
- Knowledge of Syncsort, Cobol, OPTIM, DB2, CICS, ESP, Endevor, MS Office Suite, CLIST, REXX, Intertest, TOAD, and ODBC knowledge.
