Job Title: Finance Integration / Transformation Manager

Background:

  • On June 1, 2022 the Fishawack group acquired a health consulting company based in Washington DC, with over 200 employees and target revenue of $80million this financial year.  This will form part of the business unit named Policy, Access, Value, and Evidence (“PAVE”).
  • As part of the acquisition, within 12 months the acquired company will leave the current supporting structure, processes and systems governed by the former parent company to integrate into PAVE.
  • We are seeking an individual with Finance background who will ensure People, Process, Systems and technology aspects are working together.
  • The financial transformation/integration plan will look at current state, target operating model , GAP analysis, develop a roadmap and implementation and ensure all the changes are embedded in the day to day operations
  •  The Finance integration manager will report to the COO and Business Unit CFO

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the Change and Transformation work stream program activities in accordance with functional and system requirements and translate these into detailed plans
  • Plan and manage all Transformation deliverables to time, quality, cost, and scope
  • Develop program communications plan
  • Ensure appropriate and regular communications are developed for the stakeholder community to the agreed plan
  • Partner with Finance and Integration teams to ensure communications are consistent, in compliance with standards and communicated via proper approved channels
  • Ensure all key stakeholders (internal and external) are committed to, and actively supportive of the deployment
  • Ensure strong business and integration engagement via Finance & Business Change Champions (“BCC”) and Team Leads
  • Manage Change & Transformation activities required to embed new behaviours, practices and business processes including areas of key system and/or process dependency
  • Build and manage change impact assessments as a key input in determining Readiness for Go Live
  • Lead the Business Readiness Plan activities including tracking of the BCC Plans and tracking and management of the Business Readiness Project Plans
  • Collaborate with various project or application owners to ensure consistency across multiple systems and enterprise groups
  • Collaborate with Process Teams, Solutions Design Teams, Data Teams on process, technology, and data related change impacts for input into program/project deliverables
  • Assess, deliver, and complete the Role Mapping for the end users to respective roles and any organisation work required
  • Assess the training needs and implement effective training methods to ensure optimal knowledge transfer supporting performance post go-live
  • Manage the delivery of training including onboarding of training team, development of any required localization of training materials; training needs analysis; scheduling of training and delivery of training.
  • Managing business stability metrics before and after go live to measure post go-live stabilization.
  • Initiate retrospectives to ensure lessons learned from previous sprint cycles are incorporated with appropriate mitigating actions, ownership and progress tracking
  • Understand the scope and functionality of Access Dimensions/Focal Point and any interfacing systems/modules.
  • Manage a team of Transformation Advisors/Analysts as appropriate.

Key Finance Departments:

  • Accounting operations - (General ledger, Accounts payable, Cash & Bank, Accounts receivables, Payroll, Fixed assets)
  • Project finance - Project billing and collections, Revenue recognition
  • Financial reporting (internal & external) and performance reporting
  • Financial planning and analysis – Budget and forecast
  • Group functions (Treasury and Consolidation)
  • Finance business partnering and strategic advisor

Key aspects:

  • Documentation of the Financial transformation plan and related roadmap
  • Transition from Oracle to Access Dimensions including training
  • Support the implementation of workstreams target
  • Aligning accounting and reporting processes and timelines
  • Aligning with the Project & Operation team on use of FocalPoint & Timesheets

 Key Stakeholders:

  • Group integration team
  • Acquired company and former parent company
  • PAVE Leadership and Operation team
  • Group finance team

 Key Skills:

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple, and at times, competing priorities utilizing project management skills and experience with finance system implementations, management information system development and project delivery
  • Experience within sizeable multidisciplinary and matrix teams as well as specific experience with a finance function with a focus on projects, transformations, and systems
  • Experience with process improvement (Lean, TQM or other) process digitization, data management
  • and systems implementations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, committed, and driven individual.
  • Seasoned professional with operational and portfolio management experience transformations), capable of decision making and execution.
  • A proven ability to work under pressure, to meet tight deadlines and respond to changing priority
