Role Overview You will be at the forefront of technology, changing the world of electric cars and information delivery. You will be responsible for designing innovative solutions to connect electric vehicles to the cloud and deal with complex technical issues arising from high volumes of data streamed globally. Job Responsibilities Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement. Collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience. Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends. Qualifications Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant professional experience in software development Understanding REST API design Knowledge of object-oriented programming, databases, and caching Experience or familiarity with event-driven microservices and cloud architecture Mastery in at least 2 of the following: Go, Python, TypeScript, Java, SQL BS or MS in Computer Science or related field Worked with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) in the past or applicable coursework. Experience with distributed systems and data replication techniques or applicable coursework Expected Salary Range: $95,000-$140,000 a year. Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker’s equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs. Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees. The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations.
