Role Overview We are seeking an experienced and results-driven HR Business Partner (HRBP) to align our HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and business needs. This role is based out of our Global Headquarters in Manhattan Beach, CA on Hybrid schedule (3 days a week on-site) This role is both hands-on and strategic and provides expertise in the areas of employee relations, workforce planning, performance management, compensation, employee retention, coaching/development conflict management and ad-hoc projects as necessary. Your experience in human resources management will aid our organization in adding value to overall business objectives, providing HR solutions, resolving personnel grievances, retaining a talented workforce, and ensuring compliance with regulations. Responsibilities: HR Business Partner for assigned client groups, including retail and corporate teams. Manage and resolve employee relations issues with support from the HR Director and Legal. Conduct effective, thorough, timely and objective investigations. Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions) while maintaining an engaging, respectful, and fun work environment. Coach managers in career development, leadership, and management best practices Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Partner with the Compensation team to support leaders for all salary actions including the annual salary review, promotions, and job re-leveling situations. Ensures HR and business strategies are in alignment and gain leadership support in strategic HR activities. Lead or contribute to various cross-team and / or cross-organizational HR projects Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Collaborate with key partners and stakeholders on processes to build a world-class employee experience Map and document processes, identify gaps and recommend and implement process improvements Identifies training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs Assist in developing HR strategies, policies, and practices Maintain a service-focused and user-oriented attitude, and continuous improvement towards Operational Excellence Basic Qualifications / Knowledge / Experience: Bachelor’s in business, human resources management, psychology, or related field A minimum of 10 years of Human Resources experience, including demonstrated success acting in a business partner capacity in both a corporate and retail environment Overnight travel required to support retail, service and VPC locations Work hours may include evenings and weekends Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors Experience in introducing new HR initiatives / practices and in driving continuous improvement in a multinational environment Strong business acumen and a solid understanding of company strategy, business, and competitive positioning Proven ability to coach, advise, and collaborate with senior leaders on organizational effectiveness and HR issues Experience in driving organizational and cultural changes in a complex environment Highly detail-oriented and analytical Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Experience using MS Word, Ms. Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP solutions Certification-SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment Core Competencies Drive for Results: Drive for high performance, takes responsibility, and works towards planning targets, overcoming obstacles, setbacks, and uncertainty. Expected Salary Range: $56,140.00 - $115,390.00 a year. Additional compensation: Salary is one part of total compensation which includes bonuses, equity awards as applicable, and benefits. An employee is eligible to participate in Fisker’s equity program, subject to the rules governing such programs. Benefits: Fisker provides comprehensive medical, prescription, dental, vision, and disability insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Fisker covers most of the premiums for employees. The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, internal peer equity as well as business considerations. Fisker reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above.
