Primary Responsibilities: In this role, you will:
Efficiently Handle Transactions: Receive and process checking and savings deposits, ensuring accuracy and issuing proper receipts.
Regulatory Compliance: Examine deposited checks, determining fund availability in line with regulations, and completing necessary Hold Notices.
Customer Assistance: Respond to customer inquiries about interest rates, service charges, and account histories while maintaining compliance with regulations and privacy policies.
Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell our bank products and services, enhancing the customer's banking experience.
Problem Resolution: Effectively address customer issues, referring complex matters to the appropriate departments when necessary.
Currency Management: Handle currency transactions, including buying and selling from the vault while adhering to cash limits.
Daily Balancing: Ensure your teller station is well-stocked and balanced at the end of each day. Qualifications: To thrive in this role, you should bring:
Teller Experience: A minimum of one to two years of experience in a Teller role within a financial institution (heavy cash handling experience is also acceptable).
