We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and overseeing the construction of buildings and other structures, ensuring that they meet all applicable codes and regulations. The Architect will be expected to work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop plans that meet their specifications. Responsibilities
- Conceptualization and Design Development: Work closely with clients to understand their needs, goals, and project requirements. Develop initial design concepts and present them through sketches, 3D models, or digital renderings. Incorporate functional, aesthetic, and sustainable elements into the design.
- Building Codes and Regulations: Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and other legal requirements. Stay updated on local, state, and national building regulations and incorporate them into the design process.
- Construction Documentation: Prepare detailed construction drawings, specifications, and documents that clearly communicate the design intent. Include floor plans, elevations, sections, and details necessary for construction. Coordinate with structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers to integrate their systems into the architectural design.
- Material Selection and Specifications: Select appropriate materials based on project requirements, performance criteria, and sustainability goals. Specify material finishes, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with design intent and budget constraints.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, interior designers, landscape architects, and other professionals to ensure a coordinated design approach. Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors during construction to address design-related issues and provide clarification as needed.
- Construction Administration: Provide on-site supervision and inspection during construction to ensure adherence to design intent, quality standards, and project schedule. Respond to requests for information (RFIs) and review and approve shop drawings and submittals.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on project progress, address their concerns, and obtain their feedback. Present design concepts, progress reports, and final presentations to clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities as required.
- Sustainable Design: Incorporate sustainable design principles and strategies into building projects. Consider energy efficiency, water conservation, material selection, and indoor environmental quality in the design process.
- Project Management: Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor project progress, track milestones, and manage resources effectively to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Professional Development: Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in architecture. Participate in professional development activities, attend seminars, workshops, and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Professional licensure as an Architect (RA) is required.
- Proven experience as a Building Architect, demonstrating a track record of successful building design and construction projects.
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar tools.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Understanding of structural, electrical, and mechanical systems and their integration into architectural designs.
- Excellent visual and spatial design skills, with the ability to translate concepts into 2D and 3D representations.
- Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles and green building practices.
- Familiarity with construction materials, methods, and detailing.
- Professionalism and adherence to ethical standards in architectural practice.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
