Flagger Force, the industry leader in traffic control, is currently hiring a Field Manager for their Florida territory.
The Field Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing the field operational performance within a given territory. This responsibility includes monitoring, managing, and improving the performance of direct reports, field staff as well as ensuring an exceptional client and public experience, while acting in accordance with company values, vision, and mission.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for the oversight of field operations in assigned market
Spend a minimum of 75% of time in the field, with a focus on building client and employee relationships
Average 20 site observations per week
Communicate potential business opportunities to Business Development team
Responsible for follow up and resolution of client concerns
Manage direct reports in growth and development including but not limited to the following:
1v1's
annual reviews
corrective action procedures
weekly staff meetings
Review daily team reporting and analyze field performance trends for continuous improvement
Oversee driver coaching system and process
Ensure disciplinary and corrective actions are carried out in a timely and supportive manner
Facilitate new hire onboarding process through focused on the job training which emphasizes development of supervisory skills and proficiency in necessary office functions
Work with Territory Manager to develop professional development plans for direct reports
Review and respond to feedback from direct reports regarding field employee performance
Assist Safety Department with information gathering for incidents
Ensure direct reports and field personnel comply with all Flagger Force policies and procedures and local, state, and federal laws
