What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Field Account Manager within our CLC division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients while providing excellent customer service, cross selling our services, and providing technical assistance, as well as general relationship management. The Field Account Manager is responsible for identifying opportunities to enhance service while generating income and is expected to be proactive in identifying current and future client needs. The Field Account Manager is expected to have a full and complete knowledge base on all clients and systems across all CLC products while utilizing various reports to track trends. This will be an assignment-based position reporting to the lead of that project for a given period . You will report directly to the Director of Workforce Client Services.

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Developing an in-depth knowledge base on all CLC products, systems, and processes
  • Working effectively and efficiently on assignments which may vary drastically in their day-to-day activities or functions
  • Working closely with all teams as needed
  • Directly communicating with client(s) (in-person, phone, electronic) on a frequency that is acceptable to the client(s)
  • Building and maintaining lasting relationships, which includes intimate knowledge of accounts, including essential contacts, account preferences, and activity flows for both past and future
  • Exhibiting and utilizing knowledge of the hotel industry and markets associated with the client industry
  • Responsible for client communication, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue
  • Driving account retention and growth of contract business through strong performance and relationships
  • Monitoring and managing accounts in accordance with all key metrics
  • Conducting regular business reviews, such as monthly calls, with clients utilizing reporting tools, including but not limited to Stat Pack, declined savings, and other similar reports based on client and company needs
  • Attending all scheduled training, meetings, or other events as assigned by the supervisor or other levels of leadership
  • Traveling as necessary to meet the client and business needs
  • Responsible for all other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications & Skills

  • College degree or 3-5 years of previous account management related experience
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Flexibility in work schedule as needed, ability to work additional days/hours as needed
  • Demonstrated strong ability to negotiate, teach others, and report on key metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and deliver superior service with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrate a high focus on managing responsibilities
  • Highly skilled in consulting, negotiating, and communicating with customers
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and navigating the internet
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve at a high level through critical thinking
  • High level of professionalism
  • Demonstrates ability to learn and grow the depth of industry knowledge
  • Excellent personal interaction, communication, and phone skills along with a high degree of initiative, personal responsibility, ownership, and commitment to providing the highest level of customer service
