FleetPulse is an innovative, one-of-a-kind approach to telematics in the transportation industry. We work closely with our customers as we advance our insights SaaS platform and improve our hardware capabilities and integrations. We're on a mission to make truck transportation safer and more efficient and the goods handled more secure.

 

FleetPulse is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead the development and enhancement of our telematics solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of telematics technologies, strong strategic thinking skills, and a proven track record of driving product success from conception through launch and beyond.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Product Strategy and Vision:

  • Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Create and maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes features and initiatives based on business impact and customer value.

Product Development and Lifecycle Management:

  • Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, including defining product requirements, creating user stories, and managing backlogs.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on product improvements.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders, including executive leadership, sales, marketing, and customer support teams.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for product-related inquiries and decisions.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, sales training, and product positioning.

Customer Focus:

  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and pain points, ensuring the product delivers exceptional value and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.

Innovation and Thought Leadership:

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in telematics and related fields.
  • Advocate for innovation within the product team and the broader organization.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5 years of product management experience in a B2B environment, preferably in the telematics, IoT, or supply chain / logistics industry
  • Proven experience in managing the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and ongoing iteration.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working in agile development environments. Should be comfortable splitting the role between discovery and product strategy, but also hands-on running EG sprints.
  • Strong technical acumen with an understanding of telematics technologies, including GPS tracking, vehicle diagnostics, and data analytics.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with telematics platforms, fleet management software, or related technologies.
  • Pragmatic approach to business operations
  • Well structured self-starter that can move quickly but efficiently
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in the telematics space.
  • Familiarity with data security and privacy best practices.
