Job Summary The Global Operations Director for the GN business will ideally be based near a GSS site supporting GN. This role will report to the VP Global GSS Operations and this GN Global head of Operations for GSS, will be closely aligned to the Global Account Manager for the GN business. The role will cover all GSS Operations for GN, including GN Audio, Steel Series and GN Resound. The successful candidate will be a proficient communicator, capable of influencing and driving actions within Flex Operations, with the GSS, Lifestyle & Health Solutions business units and with support functions across Flex including IT, Legal, Finance, Engineering etc. Funded directly by the customer, the Global Operations Director will interact with key customer stakeholders and global GSS sites to align and build solutions for new customer requests, support the overall NPI process and new project deployments, lead operational standardization and best practice initiatives including automation across GSS sites and devise efficiency improvement projects that target cost reduction, increased quality or higher standards of service. Key tasks Work with all GSS Sites operating GN business and drive KPI performance to contracted levels or better Participate in NPI projects and new solution deployments, driving standardization from project inception Implement cross-site communication channels and drive best practice sharing Ensure standardized practices wherever possible, allowing for globally identical HPUs and easy headcount efficiency comparison Participate in customer-facing business reviews and project calls as Ops SME Assist in commercial claim deep-dives, bridging gaps in alignment/understanding between the G-Ops sites & GSS GAM team Eliminate parochial or silo-ed priorities from individual sites or groups where they are in conflict with global optimization for GSS and GN Build project tracking methodology and present efficiency / cost reduction projects in internal and external forums Drive packaging regionalization and bulk packaging improvement initiatives with Operations WW Build a network of key contacts across rock functions including GSS IT, Global Assets, Automation engineering etc. and use this network to pull-in assistance as needed for the improvement of our GN solutions Job Category Operations Relocation: Eligible for domestic relocation only Is Sponsorship Available?
