Material Quotation Analyst

Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Material Quotation Analyst located in Austin, TX. Reporting to the Material Quotation Manager, the Material Quotation Analyst is responsible for the provision of competitive requests for quotation (RFQ’s) in order to support the Sales and Business Development teams in providing customers with high quality, cost effective quotation packages that will meet customer expectations, attract new business and assist in the strengthening of existing customer relationships. What a typical day looks like: Support in the analysis of design, product or service requirements in terms of cost, manufacturability, quality and lead-time. Source, identify and determine the lowest competitive quote for make or purchase. Negotiate prices and ensure lowest costs possible through proposal for redesign or process/service substitution to drive costs down. Manage and coordinate requests for quotations received from customers and business development managers in order to identify the best possible Flex solution. Work with (Global) commodity team on cost models and assist with strategy implementation. Work with the quotation team to provide technical support in the review of quotation packages and identify products according to the specified requirements for each customer in relation to quotes. Liaise with the customer base in co-operation with the Material Group in order to achieve cost effectiveness for the Quotes Department. Present analysis of trend information to support optimum quote packages. Oversee the input of Bill of Materials Data into the Quotes Management Software Tool. Gather, collate and analyze relevant market information to support optimum quote packages. Oversee the preparation of Key Metric Reports. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Bachelor´s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any other administrative economic career. At least 3 years of experience in similar position. 2 years of experience in Supply Chain. Fluent in English. Intermediate Excel.
