Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Warehouse Lead located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouse Lead’s role is responsible for providing leadership and direction to groups of non-exempt employees. What a typical day looks like: Provides ongoing feedback on performance of individuals through both formal and informal evaluations. Initiates and participates in process development and cost improvement projects. Assists in department budget planning and manages department expenses as well as coordinates people resource requirements for the department. Communicates daily plan and any production or customer service issues and highlights material shortages, interfaces with Expediter/Purchasing on any part shortages and recognizes and monitors bottlenecks. Reports and alerts resources concerning downtime. Interfaces with Test Support/Maintenance on equipment problems. Tracks time for NPI/Pre-production/re-work. Communicates with opposite shift to ensure communication flow. Updates department communication boards. Follows quality indicators and stops/alerts if predefined indicators are below target. Serves as primary contact for response to situations where scrap is occurring in any process step. The experience we’re looking to add to our team: 6-8 years of relevant work experience. Demonstrates functional and/or process knowledge and participates in process. Requires high level of competency related to function. Demonstrates advanced technical skills.
