Position Overview: Under close supervision, the HR Generalist will provide a wide range of HR assistance, including recruiting, selection, staffing, employment documentation, job evaluation, compensation, and benefits. 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain employee records via HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Oversee all onboarding activities for new hires, including orientations and safety training.
- Manage employee benefits, including enrollments and life event changes.
- Assist with recruitment efforts, such as posting jobs, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Handle employee inquiries by examining employee files and providing authorized information.
- Compile data from HRIS and prepare reports as needed.
- Complete and review background checks and manage e-verify (I9) documentation.
- Assist with payroll processing, including wage computation and data recording.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including FMLA, STD, LTD, and ADA tracking, ensuring benefit paybacks are monitored.
- Support company communications, HR policies, procedures, and training as required.
- Handle IT needs for employees, including creating new or replacement badges for employees, contractors, vendors, and visitors.
- Other duties as assigned.
