What Will You Do?
As a Precision Inspector, you will conduct inspections of products to validate compliance and design data requirements which includes drawings, specifications, and contract requirements at predetermined steps in the manufacturing process using basic inspection methods and tools.
We are looking for highly skilled techs with experience in one or more of the following:
· Validating, initiating, and/or completing quality records (i.e. work order, rejection tag, pick up, FAI forms, etc.)
· Validating the acceptability of product
· Knowledgeable of applicable software systems used in the Quality Management System such as SAP, Teamcenter, Pilgrim, and Microsoft applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook), etc.
· Must adhere to all EH & S regulations and policies as well as attend related training courses
· Follow the EH & S roles and responsibilities in accordance with the Cargo Policy MP5322
What Are the Requirements?
Experienced Precision Inspectors should have the expertise and professionalism to perform exceptionally well and with minimal guidance in any given situation. You must also be an excellent communicator with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues and management.
Specific qualifications for the role include:
- Ability to perform tasks with little to no supervision
- The ability to travel and commit to assignments ranging from 3 months to 1 year
- Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts, including overtime for the duration of the assignment (50 hours/week)
- There are no specific certifications or minimum education requirements for this role
- Must meet drug test requirements
