Director Tax

Job Summary The Director of Tax will be based in Fremont, CA. In this position, you will report to the VP of Finance. Nextracker operates globally in 5 continents and transacts through its numerous legal entities around the world, requiring a deep understanding of both United States and international tax structures. This position will be responsible for overseeing all tax structuring and tax compliance matters globally. Watch this video to learn why Nextracker is more than just a place to work. Here is a glimpse of what you’ll do… Oversee Nextracker’s tax policies. Monitor the reporting of tax records on behalf of our Global entities in alignment with VAT corporate income tax compliance policies. Define and coordinate safe harbor third party transfer pricing reports for intercompany transactions. Advise our front office on tax requirements related to international deals. Coordinate sales tax, VAT and GST filings for all our legal entities. Improve our quoting and sales order set up process to more effectively capture sales tax requirements in the US. Work cross functionally with third party consultants and agencies specializing in tax policy. Develop a team of tax professionals over time to assist with various responsibilities within the tax department. Here is some of what you’ll need (required)… Over 8 years experience in global Tax teams. Experience in Indirect taxes filings in Europe, Latin America and Australia. Tax planning and structuring experience. Here are a few of our preferred experiences and skills… Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Public company experience. Experience in construction companies.
