Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, we are looking to add a Sr Product Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Sr Product Engineer role involves responsibility for receiving, analyzing, cleaning, and customizing all customer technical information/documentation related to their product derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or design change to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it while maintaining its design integrity and performance. What a typical day looks like: BOM´s management and implementation. Engineering change management and implementation. Definition of manufacturing process routes. Technical support to CFTs (customer work teams). Management and control of drawings and product specifications. Management of work meetings. Production support by evaluating product engineering problems of various scope that arise in the production line. Interacting with the customer and various departments on product related issues: engineering changes, development of new models. Suggest modifications to work instructions, material, or product changes to ensure superior product quality. Participate in cost reduction activities in areas such as material, inventory, and waste reduction. Provide training to depuration technicians and develop better product knowledge. Technical support in establishing variables to control, optimize and evaluate metalworking processes and operations. Experience we are looking for to add to our team: BA/BS or equivalent work experience. Experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment. Experience in NPI Experience in product lifecycle systems (Agile), Experience in MRP system (SAP, BAAN, Flexflow) desirable. Advanced English communication skills (verbal and written). Experience in the use of Data collection and Shop Floor systems. Experience in ECO's implementation Knowledge in Bill of Materials creation and reading. Knowledge in assembly processes (End to End).
