Job Description Responsible for supporting our Sales and Business Development teams in the sales of advanced imaging systems and cameras used in defense, search and rescue and other applications. The person in this role will work closely with the Business Development and Sales (BDS) Vice President and the BDS Directors, with timely responses to data requests, briefing materials and other relevant administrative support as needed or requested. This position requires the skill, ability, and willingness to work directly with internal customers and other FLIR support teams who reside in several geographical locations. Products supported are those within our Surveillance group to include, Airborne, Ground, Hand-Held, Integrated Systems and Maritime. Location: This is a fully remote role with preference for the candidate to be based in Austin TX or the Washington DC area. Candidates in other areas will be considered. Preference is for the candidate to be in the ET or CT time zones. SALES TERRITORIES: Global DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Generate in-depth analyses and reporting based on multiple data sources to measure the effectiveness of BDS efforts in a global environment Develop, maintain, and present dashboards, reports, and analysis to track BDS performance to plan, and deep-dive business analysis Act as point person for all BDS analytics questions and requests Help maintain internal procedures and documentation that facilitate analytics and reporting standards for the BDS organization Manage updates in analytics platforms (Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI, SAP, Data Warehouse, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud/Marketo) and provide training to other team members Carry out quality control and troubleshooting of data, data flow, reports, scripts, and queries across multiple platforms, data sources, and reports Support the business development team in maintaining quality data input within CRM Provide the Global Sales VP with accurate forecasting of quarterly and annual targets Distribute product inquiry requests to appropriate POCs Review FBO & GovWin feeds to identify potential pursuit opportunities for the BDS Team Create SAP requisitions for sales vendors Submit accurate weekly Actuals vs Budget reports to the team Support various sales and BDS activities as requested Create needed written materials for presentations and meetings Liaise with the other departments to ensure timely responses Provide cross team support as requested Track annual sponsor and charity contributions across Surveillance Assist in tracking the approval & processing of vendor agreements within Surveillance REQUIREMENTS: Prior experience working for a defense contractor within the aerospace industry is preferred. Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience, MBA preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, SAP and data warehouse platforms Excellent organizational, prioritization, communication, and project management skills, as well as the ability to handle multiple tasks accurately and efficiently Understanding of sales performance metrics A team player with high level of dedication Ability to work under strict deadlines Impeccable record keeping and attention to detail Must be eligible for a secret clearance Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
