Summary/objective
The warehouse employee is responsible for verifying and signing for shipments, unloading, and storing the received items, and processing any returns.
Essential functions

- Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and preparing for transportation to the stores and other locations.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
- Enforces inventory controls by collecting stock location orders and printing requests.
- Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
- Ensuring that all merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Scanning labels to ensure products are shipped to correct destinations.
- Provide quality service by following organization standards.
- Preserves safe and clean work environments by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat and tidy.
- Promoted clean shipping supply area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Completes reports by entering required information.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Required education and experience:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
- Excellent Communication skills; both verbally and in writing
- Basic math and organization skills
- Detail-oriented mindset, data entry and computer skills
- Ability to work on feet for long hours
- Understanding of safety protocols and requirements
- Experience shipping, receiving, or selling related products
- Forklift certified
- Valid C driver license
