Description
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives checks and cash for deposits and payments
- Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of identification, signature, and account balance.
- Transfers loan payments, share transactions and loan advances.
- Balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at the end of shift to the computer print out of daily transactions.
- Cross sells FCU products to the membership (travelers checks, money orders, interest bearing checking accounts, etc.).
Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three years related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience in a business/financial environment
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to effectively communicate on a one-to-one basis with members and with co-employees.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to count proficiently by 1s, 5s, 10s, 20s, 50s and 100s.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
