Prepress Technician

Florida Graphic Services is looking for a full-time Prepress Technician. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to take direction. The candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment and will not buckle under the pressure of tight deadlines and demanding clients. Responsibilities include:

• Setting up and correcting files to print
• Communicating with clients in regards to file setup and design
• Assist the Customer Service Reps with interpreting clients’ requests
• Communicate with the Production Department the intricacies of a clients’ job

Desired Skills & Experience

• College degree in related field
• Expert level proficiency with Creative Cloud (Photoshop/Illustrator/Indesign)
• Color matching
• Typesetting
• Multi-tasking
• Ability to learn and retain information
• Work with a sense of urgency
• Communicate effectively and clearly
• Experience with large format printing a plus

We are a full-service printing company and our services include printing, design, lamination, routing, fulfillment, finishing, and prototyping. We service the sign industry with current technology and customer friendly service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Prepress: 2 years (Preferred)
• Adobe Creative Suite: 4 years (Preferred)
• Adobe Illustrator: 4 years (Preferred)
