Position Summary:
The Treasury Specialist is responsible for quantitative and analytical support to ensure that cash and investments are optimized. The Treasury Specialist also is the primary contact for the initiation of operational funding requirements and banking relations. In addition, the Treasure Specialist will lead treasury projects related to any new or enhanced banking requirements resulting from the Company’s strategic initiatives or growth.
Essential Functions:
- Monitor cash balances to ensure that short-term investment opportunities are optimized while maintaining adequate liquidity for operations.
- Request wires and other cash transfers in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Provide analysis on the performance of cash and investments monthly to supplement quarterly reporting provided by investment managers.
- Assist with cashflow forecasting to help determine funding availability for strategic investment initiatives.
- Ensure quality implementation, maintenance, and on-going support of all treasury services and products.
- Serve as primary contact for support and problem resolution on treasury service issues, which will require a close working relationship with banking contacts.
- Act as lead banking contact and project manager on any banking related matters for new product offerings, specialized accounts, or for companies established as part of strategic or growth initiatives, including all KYC and other related documentation and testing.
- Facilitate communication with our lead investment advisor.
- Other projects and analyses as requested by management.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA a plus
- 3-5 years working in banking or in the cash management department of a corporation.
Essential Skills:
- Strong analytical skills.
- Moderate to advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of financial theories and economic indicators
- Proficient in the use of MS 365 including Teams
Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
