What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver and Wedding Setup position at Flowers of Lisle?
We are looking for a part-time driver to deliver flowers, plants and gifts across the city safely and timely. The delivery window is flexible but usually in the late morning to early afternoon.
This person also will help setup wedding and event flowers during weekend.
We provide the van and gas.
Responsibilities
- Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
- Deliver wedding flowers to venue and help setup the wedding flowers on site where necessary
- Helps out the store where needed
Skills
- Proven experience as a driver
- A valid driver’s license
- A clean driving record
- A polite and professional attitude
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
- Ability to lift heavy packages
- Availability to work weekend and occasionally night shfits on Saturdays
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week

- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
