We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team at our Bridgeville site. As a Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC and/or manual lathes and mills to produce high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently set up and operate CNC and/or manual lathes and mills to produce turned parts and castings.
- Read and interpret drawings using conventional and geometric tolerances.
- Adjust speeds and feeds to maximize machining productivity.
- Machine parts to close tolerances from raw material and/or castings while ensuring safety and quality requirements.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience cutting metal using CNC or Manual machines.
- Ability to accurately measure tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and tri-mics.
- Ability to work 2nd shift or 3rd shift.
- Computer literacy.
- Knowledge of layout and setup of castings and raw material.
- Ability to read and follow route sheets/blueprints.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well with people.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Technical or vocational certifications in CNC or Manual Machining.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Programming ability a plus, but not required.
- Knowledge and skill to utilize overhead cranes safely a plus.
Flowserve Corporation offers competitive pay rates, annual bonus, shift premiums, benefits, paid vacation, paid holidays, 401k, and other outstanding benefits. New hires are eligible for a $2500 sign-on bonus. This position is available for 2nd shift (3:15 pm to 11:45 pm) and 3rd shift (11:30 pm to 7:30 am). Will depend on candidate's preference or availability.
