Job Title: Telephone Service Representative (TSR) - Temporary/Seasonal
Reports to: Floor Coaches/Center Manager
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Voter Contact Phone Work.
Your duties involve extensive and exclusive use of the telephone. Different projects include (but are not limited to) I.D. Calls, Advocacy Calls, and GOTV (Get Out The Vote) Calls. You will be required to use correct grammar and a pleasant tone of voice when delivering messages over the phone.
HOURS OF OPERATION/SCHEDULING
Hours/Scheduling will be assigned on an as needed basis. Hours/scheduling are not guaranteed by FLS Connect. Your floor supervisor/center manager will notify you of available hours and will call you daily/weekly for your availability. Saturday and Sunday shifts will be required as needed. Once your hours are assigned and accepted, you are required to work those hours. You are expected to be on time at shift start and work until your scheduled shift end. FLS Connect reserves the right to end your scheduled work day sooner than shift end for any reason. In the event you choose not to work those agreed hours or choose to leave before the scheduled shift end, your employment may be terminated and FLS Connect cannot guarantee a call-back for future hours/scheduling.
Monitoring and Taping
- This positions calls will be monitored and taped daily and weekly for quality and training purposes. By signing this job description you are acknowledging FLSs call monitoring and taping policy and giving your consent to have your calls monitored and taped during your employment as a TSR.
Skills and Abilities:
- Be at work on time everyday.
- Strong communication (sales) and persuasion skills; good telephone techniques and skills.
- Team player, pro-active, positive attitude at all times.
- Ability to take direction, follow through and multi-task; ability to work under pressure and meet changing requirements in a fast paced environment.
- Flexible work schedule which includes Nights and Weekends as required.
- Ability to read a script clear in size 12-16 font on computer monitor
Non-Essential Functions:
- From time to time TSR will be required to perform additional duties as required by Center Manager which includes Nights and Weekends.
Education:
- High School diploma and/or some college a plus.
Experience:
- Outbound call center experience a plus.
