Your responsibilities
- Reviews assigned work order for correct parts, documents drawings, engineering specifications, and stores requisition (bill of materials) and sales orders
- Inspects all housings, castings, liners and components, for any defects
- Prepare components for assembly by removing, paint, grease or other substances from designated areas.
- Performs checkproof inspections of assembled PCV & PT components for conformance to specifications and dimensional correctness
- Pressure tests units and subassemblies if required.
- Prepares PCV & PT assemblies for painting by trimming all protruding liner materials and gaskets from joints and seams, and solvents wasting areas contaminated with greases and silicon
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
- Maintains safe operations by adhering to FLSmidth safety procedures and regulations
- Properly maintain company supplied uniforms
- Performs other related duties as assigned
What you bring
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in a manufacturing and/production environment preferred and/or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Must be able to interpret blueprints
- Must have knowledge of health and safety requirements including but not limited to fire hazards, compressed gases, electrical, chemical and mechanical devices

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
