What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Fluke Electronics?
We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to work on our Maintenance team that provides maintenance support to the facility and production at the Janos Technology site in Keene, NH. The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain equipment throughout the Janos facility, including manufacturing.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain production equipment (i.e., automated, computerized, numerically controlled, pneumatic and/or hydraulic).
- Schedule and perform the repairs and maintenance of the facility plumbing, electricity, air conditioning, construction and etc. Coordinate service with outside contractors and landlord when needed.
- Develop maintenance procedures to ensure timely repairs and reduce loss of production time.
- Work with Original Equipment Manufacturers to repair equipment issues.
- Collaborate with production, process engineering, maintenance team members and outside vendors to complete maintenance work orders and improvement projects.
- Follow defined standard operating procedures to ensure safety and quality work.
- Perform 5S tasks to maintain a clean, organized work area
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a US Person as defined by 22 CFR 120.15 (Citizen, Permanent Resident).
- Ability to read, understand and apply knowledge of blueprints and technical manuals.
- Basic knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical/mechanical maintenance and repair techniques
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma equivalent degree.
- Minimum 1 years of practical experience working with production equipment and building support equipment. Prior experience servicing CNC (computer numerical control) machinery / equipment preferred.
- Wear PPE (i.e. respirator, safety glasses, arc flash gloves).
- Use hands and fingers fully; reach for, manipulate, and feel objects; stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.
- Climb and maintain body balance on ladders, scaffolding, or high structures; and see and hear well (either naturally or with correction);
- Lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
This position's primary functions are subject to U.S. Government ITAR compliance requirements under current government contracts. Subject to certain exceptions, all employees in this position must be either: 1) a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident (green card holder) or refugee/asylee or 2) must be willing to provide information necessary to make this determination and/or cooperate with the company in applying for a U.S. government license, if required. Employment is contingent on the U.S. government approving such license, if required.
