FLYR is looking for an innovative and experienced Financial Systems Analyst to support Finance and Accounting Initiatives. The Financial Systems Analyst would be the key go-to person for our Workday Adaptive Planning planning and reporting tool and drive initiatives to streamline our financial reporting processes. The role reports to the VP, FP&A, and is based in San Francisco (Bay Area).

The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team at FLYR is responsible for company-wide financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis. As the central planning group for the entire company, FP&A plays a unique and critical role in driving business decisions and optimizing financial outcomes. What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)
- Daily administration and management of Workday Adaptive Planning
- Opportunity to support NetSuite ERP, depending on experience
- Bridge IT and Finance functions and partner with IT to provide relevant system solutions
- Maintain meta-data, rules, (entity structure, chart of accounts, inter-company elimination logic, cash flow logic) reconciliation templates, workflows, reports, and security
- Establish best practices for financial systems and ensure they are used throughout the organization by providing education and training to key system stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other teams in company-wide system and process implementation projects
- Guide continuous improvement efforts in the company’s financial reporting & planning systems to ensure that we can scale effectively as the company grows
- Support the development of key performance metrics in dashboards and reports
- Partner with cross-functional teams across FLYR - develop a strong collaborative relationship with key stakeholders across the company
- Provide analysis, insight, and recommendations for ad hoc strategic, financial, and analytical projects, as required
What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent degree in Computer Science (preferred), Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in finance system management (Workday Adaptive preferred, NetSuite experience a plus)
- Knowledge or experience with financial processes, especially FP&A, Budgeting, Accounting, Financial and Management Reporting, and Workforce Planning
- Query and report writing experience including Microsoft Excel formulas/VBA, SQL, Javascript, or other similar programming languages
- Demonstrated experience building front-end financial reports in financial systems and automating manual processes
- Expert-level proficiency with Excel to create financial models
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and other basic Microsoft applications
- Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization
- Team player who embraces chance and thrives in a fast-paced environment

Salary : $112,000 - $156,000
