General Responsibilities/Job Summary
The Personal Banker III will exemplify quality service standards while providing a variety of banking solutions and recommending and selling bank products and services. By displaying excellent customer service skills, the Personal Banker III will identify opportunities to expand current banking relationships and engage prospects to earn new bank customers.
- Take a primary role in ensuring the branch achieves its annual sales, service and operational goals. Duties include planning, directing and executing the branch sales process. Participate by demonstrating the consultative sales skills of profiling, pre-call planning, business to business sales interaction and timely follow up.
- Proactively identifies and solicits cross sell opportunities as well as develops new business opportunities using promotions and customer outreach. Manage internal and external partnerships as well as centers of influence to enhance bank recognition and community engagement.
- Processes new deposit and loan account requests. Handles service requests and problem resolution in an accurate and timely manner.
- Seek service to sales opportunities out of customer interaction and transaction processing. Perform account opening and maintenance. Assist with processing applications.
- Adheres to all bank policies and federal regulations including, but not limited to, Currency Transaction Reporting, Check Cashing Policy, Confidentiality of Customer Information, Cash Management, CIP (Customer Information Program), and BSA (Bank Secrecy Act).
- Provides excellent customer service adhering to the WOW Customer Service standards of performance.
- Oversee the branch in the absence of the Community Office Manager/Assistant Community Office Manager and provide guidance, training and coaching to branch personnel through daily staff interaction.
- Performs Teller duties whenever needed.
- Attends training and seminars to enhance sales skills and techniques and to stay current on system and product updates.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Training:
- College Degree or at least three-five years of work experience in a banking position.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated sales/business development experience & success
- Strong knowledge of bank deposit, loan and business products and services
- Sound judgment and working knowledge of rules and bank regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to work with all levels of employees and types of customers
- PC proficiency including Excel, Word, internet and email
Experience:
- At least three-five years of demonstrated sales, service and supervisory experience in a related banking position.
Required Certification/Licenses:
- NMLS License; Valid Driver’s License
Travel Requirements:
- Flexible schedule to include Saturday, with localized travel within the bank’s footprint
Physical and Mental Job Requirements:
- Typically sits or stands for sustained periods of time at a desk and/or computer
- Typically requires viewing a computer terminal and extensive reading
- Ability to receive and deliver detailed information through oral and written communication
- Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.

Salary : $43,100 - $54,500
