Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Step Down RN to implement nursing care services for the post surgical patients in a manner suitable to accepted standards of care.
Contract Assignment ? 13 Weeks (Temporary)
Shift: 3x12 Days

Requirements:
- Motivated candidates who are looking for career growth
- AHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
- BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure
- Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process
- Direct and supervise other assigned team members
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide appropriate care
- Provide total patient care, including medication, orders, and treatments
- Assist the physician in performing special procedures
- Assist in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in patient?s physical condition
- Perform techniques of cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively
- Maintain patient?s clinical records and assist with execution of the physician?s orders
- Administer treatment including sterile procedures
- All other responsibilities as needed
