Foghill, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Laborer to support our facility maintenance services in Washington, D.C. This role is ideal for individuals proficient in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance tasks. Responsibilities:

• Execute maintenance and repair tasks in HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and drywall.
• Maintain operational efficiency through routine property upkeep.
• Address emergency maintenance requests promptly.
• Uphold facility cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Perform landscaping and snow removal as needed.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to optimize operations.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2-3 years of general labor experience, with specific skills in HVAC, plumbing, or carpentry.
• Demonstrated capability in painting and drywall repairs.
• Ownership of hand tools; power tools supplied by the company.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Flexibility to work in various locations within the designated area and respond to on-call emergencies.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 3 years of janitorial experience in commercial environments.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Building Engineering: 5 years (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)
