This position manages the team and overall process for achieving a high renewal and retention rate for Follett School Solutions Software licenses. This key management role will develop and research renewal strategies to maximize contract value and growth opportunities while enhancing the customer relationship. Fosters a collaborative and positive relationship with sales and sales support teams. Maintains a strong knowledge of company products and/or services as well as all contract/license agreement service terms, pricing, limitations, etc. Manages the activities of individual contributors.
  • Manage a team that owns, guides and handles the full renewal process from start to finish. Drive incremental revenue opportunities upon contract renewal for Follett's largest customers.
  • Set quarterly quotas, train renewal team and allocate resources to ensure that revenue targets are met. Motivate sales staff through recognition/rewards for outstanding productivity and achievement of key goals.
  • Oversee the tracking and reporting of key sales and operational metrics and updates to customer management system. Conducts regular renewal review cycles with team and ongoing status of contracts by district size.
  • Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews of direct staff.
  • Participate in quarterly sales review meetings and Customer Success teams to understand company forecasts and customer relationship issues.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-7 years of experience
