About the Role
As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to meet our revenue goals, and you will report directly to the CEO. You will lead, train, and support our sales team, ensuring they have the tools and guidance needed to succeed. Your role will also involve direct engagement in cold outreach and relationship-building with potential customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Training
Lead, mentor, and support the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
Develop and implement effective sales training programs.
Foster a positive and productive sales culture.
2. Sales Strategy & Execution
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold outreach and networking.
Build and maintain strong relationships with high-growth companies.
3. Revenue Growth
Set and achieve ambitious revenue targets.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Continuously refine sales processes and strategies to improve performance.
4. Collaboration & Reporting
Collaborate with marketing, product, and customer success teams to optimize the sales funnel.
Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, preferably within the fintech industry.
Experience in building and scaling sales teams.
Experience in selling tax, tax credits, or accounting solutions is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of high-growth companies and their financial needs.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical skills to assess and improve sales performance.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
