What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Driver/CDL position at Fondomonte Arizona LLC?
Drive our trucks and be home with your family every day! Fondomonte Arizona is currently seeking full-time Truck Drivers/CDL Drivers to join our team.
We have a vertically integrated farming operation that includes growing, harvesting and exporting of forage products.
Our drivers play an important role at Fondomonte and contribute to and maintain the stability of our operations. Want to get your CDL? We will provide you the training and pay you while training!
Position Responsibilities
- Transport products and containers in company vehicle to intended destinations
- Communicate with dispatch as needed
- Assist in or supervise the safe loading onto trucks of the cargo to be transported.
- Ensure contents are properly secured in truck to prevent damage/injury
- Records all pertinent delivery information as needed for accurate tracking
- Inspect trucks and record mechanical issues
- Comply with federal regulations and any state regulations.
Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License (Preferred)
- 2-3 years of prior driving experience (Preferred)
- Previous experience working in a farming environment (Preferred)
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug screening
- Strong organizational skills as they relate to workload, time management and setting priorities
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team with minimum supervision
We will pay for your licensing fees. Pay range is $17.35 - $20/HR
