POSITION OVERVIEW

The VIP Host position will play a key role in marketing the nightclub, dayclub, and other services to guests while focusing on the development of a personal clientele list. The ideal candidate assists guests with special requests all while maintaining customer relationships and adhering to Fontainebleau Las Vegas service standards. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Greet VIP guests upon arrival and provide a warm and personalized welcome
  • Anticipate and fulfill VIP guests' needs, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit
  • Provide information about the nightclub's offerings, including VIP services, bottle service, and exclusive events
  • Accompany VIP guests to their designated tables or private areas and assist with seating arrangements
  • Foster a friendly and engaging atmosphere, engaging in conversation and building relationships with VIP guests
  • Coordinate and manage VIP reservations, ensuring accurate and timely arrangements
  • Work closely with the reservations team to organize VIP table reservations, bottle service, and special requests
  • Maintain an organized record of VIP guest preferences, special occasions, and other relevant information to personalize their experience during future visits
  • Handle last-minute reservation changes or adjustments with professionalism and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the operations teams to ensure seamless VIP service delivery
  • Coordinate with the waitstaff, bartenders, and other Members to prioritize VIP guest requests and ensure timely delivery of orders
  • Monitor VIP sections to ensure cleanliness, proper setup, and adherence to brand standards
  • Handle any guest concerns or issues promptly and professionally, escalating them to the appropriate department when necessary
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with VIP guests, influencers, and industry contacts to enhance guest satisfaction and encourage repeat visits
  • Engage in networking activities, attending industry events, and building a personal network of high-profile individuals
  • Proactively communicate with VIP guests through various channels, including phone calls, emails, and personalized invitations to exclusive events
  • Promote and upsell VIP services, packages, and promotions to maximize revenue
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the VIP experience through partnerships, collaborations, or special offerings
  • Monitor VIP guest spending patterns and provide recommendations for personalized offerings and incentives
  • Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Two (2) years of experience in customer development, customer relationship management, or a related role within the nightlife or hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of the nightclub industry, market dynamics, and customer preferences
  • Highly motivated and energetic personality with a strong commitment to excellence in hospitality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability in maintaining consistent, high-quality service levels
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive guest and company information
  • Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule to include holidays, nights, and weekends
  • Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES    

This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the Member is regularly required to stand and use hands and fingers to handle or utilize objects, tools, or controls. The Member frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision.

The Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
