POSITION OVERVIEW
The Laborer is responsible for assisting with resort maintenance repairs and improvements. This role is crucial in displaying attentiveness and eye for design to guarantee the beauty and functionality of our resort ensuring the safety and satisfaction of all our guests.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:
- Transportation and delivery of propane tanks to different venues
- Demolition and clean-up during special projects
- Assist engineers with assigned tasks and projects
- Direct support to other departments in moving of furniture
- Trash removal and general clean-up
- Provide parts runners and material handling, property wide
- Stock engineering supplies, shops, tool room
- Maintain all vehicles and keep up to date maintenance logs for insurance purposes
- Work closely with other departments to provide special project support
- Drive to off- site locations when necessary
- Provide a current Nevada Motor Vehicle Report every 6 months, and immediately report any changes to the Nevada Driver’s License status
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High School diploma or equivalent required
- At least one (1) of experience as a laborer or similar role
- Maintain a clean DMV record
- Experience using hand tools and utility knives.
- Experience using two-way radio
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate in English
- Excellent customer service skills
- Polished appearance and demeanor
- Ability to obtain and maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies, and procedures
This position does not have any supervisor responsibilities.

Member must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Requires transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 100 pounds and must have the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.
