Vendor Analyst

SUMMARY

The category analyst will work directly with the Jewel-Osco Deli team as an assistant, providing support in preparing for sales meetings, building category reviews, assessing advertising results, and reviewing item selections.

The analyst will be working out of the Albertsons Jewel-Osco Division HQ.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Prepare sales reports by collecting data (at times, from multiple sources), analyzing, then summarizing information.

· Monitor progress of various projects, tracking activity vs. prior timeframes and baselines.

· Build and maintain relationships with client to provide best in class service to drive growth and profitability of the client.

· Publish reports via email and internal sites in a format that is easy to read and understand.

· Develop ongoing and ad hoc reports, templates, dashboards, scorecards of Key Performance Indicators, as needed/requested.

· Evaluate, identify, and recommend solutions to automate reporting processes.

· Ensure compliance with client’s Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - especially Excel (with a strong working knowledge of Lookups, Pivot Tables and Power Query Editor).

· High level of, reliability, productivity, responsibility, attendance, dependability, organization, accuracy, and thoroughness of all tasks.

· Good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.

· Must possess a passion for teamwork and reaching business objectives and results.

· Experience in food retail/operations a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
