Position Overview: The CRM Analyst provides support to the food bank with a specific focus on program and agency partner data collection and analysis. This role requires attention to detail, high-level organization, and strong people skills. The bulk of the Data Manager’s work will take place out of the office out in the communities served by the food bank; working with staff and volunteers at food pantry partners to help implement and train them on the use of a new data collection platform.

The CRM analyst reports to the agency relations and program director on

strategies to accomplish FFFB’s strategic plan and meet operational needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the food bank’s launch of the Service Insights platform with on-the- ground implementation by developing relationships with volunteers, site coordinators, agency partners, and training volunteers
• Implement online data collection for 60 partners during the first year
• Conduct trainings and provide technical assistance to partners and volunteers
• Gather statistical data and prepare reports on recipient usage and demographics as needed
• Provide data collection and analysis to assist in preparation of grants and annual reports
• Oversee and maintain the Service Insights platform and app as required by

Feeding America

• Maintain TEFAP data in accordance with federal and state program compliance requirements
• Support food bank departments with program data needs and analysis

Required Education, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree
• 1-3 years of proven experience with data collection and analysis
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to make presentations and develop reports that includes data and technical information
• Passion, enthusiasm, focus, and creativity around FFFB’s vision, mission and values of community, leadership, transparency, innovation and diversity
• Positive attitude; proactively seeks and incorporates feedback.

• Strong work ethic with an orientation toward constant innovation and process improvement

• Valid Indiana driver’s license with an insurable driving record. (Vehicle ownership not necessary.

• Ability to maintain good relationships with multiple co-workers and clients

Physical Requirements

This work takes place in an office, warehouse, and outdoor environments. Physical activities necessary in the performance of this job include ability to: Sit at a computer workstation for up to five hours at a time, move throughout the 30,000 square foot warehouse and other food bank facilities in performance of duties, regularly bend, lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; work outside in all conditions as necessary; communicate in clear speaking voice in person, before large groups and over the phone; interpret instructions and questions when asked; and operate computer equipment, including typing/seeing.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, however the employee must be available during the "core" work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and must work 40 hours each week to maintain full-time status. This is a one-year grant funded position with potential for extension beyond the grant period.
