Food Lifeline is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and manage our technology efforts. We're looking for a problem-solver who is passionate about technology, prioritizes positive user experience, and understands the vital role tech plays in our mission to end hunger in Western Washington.
As our IT Manager, you'll be responsible for:
- Managing the full spectrum of technology, including hardware and software, infrastructure and security, and help desk and user support.
- Ensuring full uptime and effective maintenance of our technology systems and tools.
- Providing responsive, helpful, and personalized user support to staff and teams with diverse needs and priorities
- Developing, implementing, and managing technology security policies and procedures.
- Developing and managing technology project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Building strong relationships with staff and teams across Food Lifeline to understand tech needs, recommend solutions, and maximize use of technologies to make their jobs easier.

- You have a passion for technology and have a track record of effectively managing IT in an environment that depends on it mission critical operations.
- You have a patient, empathetic, and understanding demeanor, and you always approach challenges with a positive outlook and a commitment to ensuring that users feel valued and supported by you and your team.
- You're an excellent communicator, with the ability to translate technical concepts into plain language for colleagues who may be less tech oriented.
- You have experience configuring and managing technology in a Windows-based environment, including managing Microsoft’s Active Directory and Office 365 tenants.
- You are comfortable and skilled in managing budgets and vendor relationships
