General Summary
Assists in conducting product quality audits and ensures food products are within food safety parameter.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assists with testing on food products to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
2. Audits documentation of food test results.
3. Verifies equipment calibration and makes the necessary adjustments.
4. Assists with product cutting preparation.
5. Tracks non-conforming product and their dispositions.
6. Cleans and sterilizes laboratory equipment before and after use.
7. Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.

Job Specifications
1. 2 years Quality Assurance experience is preferred.
2. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of food and safety regulations.
3. Basic PC skills are required.

Working Conditions
1. Warehouse and food laboratory environment.
2. The environment may be wet or dry and temperatures may range from 25°F to 110°F.
3. Frequent exposure to hazardous materials.
4. Occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds is required.
5. Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.

Shift start: 9:00PM
Shift length: 8 hours
Flexible shift as long as 8 hours are worked in the shift.
