INVENTORY CONTROL LEAD – HIRING IMMEDIATELY – EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
Starting Pay Minimum: $20/hour based on experience

Our Inventory Control Lead person will:
• Ensure safety of employees by setting example and holding people accountable for working safely
• Assign work to employees and ensure job orders are picked accurately and delivered in a timely manner
• Assume responsibility for ensuring schedule is completed on a daily basis, including informing employees when overtime is needed, and personally working overtime.
• Keep supervisor/manager informed and escalate issues as necessary to achieve objectives
• Ensure inventory areas are well-organized and labeled to promote speed and accuracy when pulling orders
• Lead problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Update Excel spreadsheets for inventory counts
• Escalate issues such as errors in pick lists to Supervisor/Production Manager
• Monitor stock levels and notify Purchasing to replenish externally sourced parts/components
• Physically place purchased parts into correct inventory locations
• Operate stand-up forklift when required
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area at all times
• Assist production with building stock parts as needed
• Ensure employee rotation/cross-training
• Uphold Company safety policies & procedures
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
• Minimum of a High School education or equivalent
• Sense of urgency to ensure production work centers have parts/supplies to complete their jobs on time
• Understanding of Inventory Management and ability to maintain appropriate stock levels
• Ability to train and develop direct reports to improve department performance
• Proficiency with MS Excel and MRP systems, including analyzing reports/data/process flow to improve efficiency
• Proficiency with stand-up lift preferred but not required

• The employee is frequently required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

• The employee is occasionally required to reach above shoulders, climb or balance, talk or hear.
• The employee must regularly lift and /or move 10 pounds-25 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds or more.
