- Length: 4-6 Weeks
- Pay Rate: $25 per Hour
- Crew: 5-8 people Preferred
Job Description:
A Residential Framer is responsible for completing tasks on a construction site according to blueprints to create a structurally sound home. Their duties include erecting scaffolding, unloading construction materials and operating equipment.
Residential Framer Responsibilities:
- Taking apart or constructing scaffolding, bracing and other temporary structures for the construction site.
- Digging trenches and backfill holes to prepare for the construction site.
- Operating equipment used in construction sites.
- Following instructions from construction project supervisor.
- Loading and unloading building materials.
- Cleaning the construction site by removing hazards materials and debris from the worksite.
- Assisting craft workers such as carpenters or electricians with their duties, if needed.
- Ready the construction site each day for the current project by preparing materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain a brisk and productive pace of activities to complete all assigned tasks within time constraints.
